Supplemental Educational Services
Our Piece of the Pie® is an approved Supplemental Educational Services provider. Through SES, students can receive free tutoring which complies with state academic standards, and also connects to the Hartford school district's instructional program.

>Because literacy is the gateway to all knowledge, OPP concentrates on helping struggling teen readers improve reading fluency and comprehension. OPP offers qualified instructors and a nationally proven reading intervention curriculum geared to the interests of youth. The instructional approach provides individual and small group tutoring in a supportive "youth friendly" environment to enhance academic achievement, increase confidence, and provide motivation.
The Supplemental Education program is part of the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001.
